He started his whisky quest at the age of 18 and has been trained by many whisky experts in the industry, among which Michael Jackson, Charles MacLean, Jim Rutledge (Four Roses), George Stone (Jack Daniel's) and Jimmy Russell (Wild Turkey). Becky Lovett Offringa Marine Biologist, Real Estate Agent, Vice President James Doran Company, self-employed as editor/ researcher, whisky taster and connoisseur. Together, Becky and Hans conduct whisky nosing & tasting sessions for restaurants and business clubs under the name The Whisky Couple.
